Shihan Steve Ouslis

Shihan Ouslis is a 7th Degree Black Belt and Director of Northern Karate northwest location. He has more than thirty years experience studying and researching different martial arts and received his certification from the World Kobudo Federation and the All Okinawan Karate Do Federation (Japan).

An active tournament competitor in the 1980's, Shihan Ouslis was ranked among the top-ten in forms, sparring and weapons by Karate Illustrated magazine and was voted Male Black Belt Competitor by the Ontario Karate Circuit.A graduate of the University of Toronto, Shihan Ouslis also participated with the Varsity boxing team.Shihan Ouslis has traveled to Japan to further his training and research in Karate-do and Kobudo. He also instructs and performs international martial arts seminars and events throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
