Rene Villar is the Director of Northern Karate Schools Willowdale.
He became a member of NKS at the early age of 10 and what was once a hobby eventually spawned into a full time career.
20 years later with the guidance of Kyoshi Michael Walsh (NKS Don Mills Director) Rene now is the co-owner of NKS Willowdale.
During his training with NKS, Rene has also been involved in the Filipino Martial art of Arnis. Having won several world titles in the World Escrima Kali Arinis Federation (WEKAF), Rene has shared his knowledge of the art within the NKS clubs with the guidance of Guru Rudy Cosico.

NKS has opened a lot of opportunities for Rene to grow as a martial artist as well as a school owner, having trained in arts from around the world Rene’s quest for excellence is just beginning.
